Luke Daniels is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer. Rooted in the rich tradition of Irish folk music, his mastery of the melodeon and button accordion has not only earned him critical acclaim but has placed him in constant demand as a live performer, performing worldwide from Celtic Connections to the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
A compelling live act captivating audiences with his virtuosity and originality. Luke’s reputation as a live performer has seen him take the stage at some of the world’s most respected venues and festivals. From Philadelphia Folk Festival to The London Jazz Festival, the Royal Festival Hall to BBC Radio 2’s Folk Programme, his performances resonate with audiences and critics alike. He has been a regular feature at leading UK folk festivals including Cambridge, Celtic Connections, FolkEast, Broadstairs and Sidmouth, bringing both traditional repertoire and original compositions to life with musicianship of the highest calibre. Luke has toured extensively as a session musician with globally renowned acts such as Riverdance, Jethro Tull, De Dannan, and Cara Dillon.
Since launching his solo career, he has released eight critically acclaimed albums featuring his own songs and instrumental works; recordings that showcase not only his melodic sensibility but also his unique voice as a composer.
