Our July session is really a blast from the past for us at the Old Stables. Our regulars over the years will no doubt recognise the names Anna Pancaldi and Ben Cipolla as two of the most popular performers that have graced our stage.
Anna Pancaldi is an enchanting and noteworthy London-based singer-songwriter in the classic tradition, influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Carole King, Note only is she renowned for her engaging and emotional live performances, she also has an impressive catalogue of music placements in film and TV including the globally acclaimed Grey's Anatomy, Focus Feature film, Every Body, Pretty Little Liars, Love Is Blind, Famous in Love, Paramount film, The In Between and Levi's ad campaign.
Not only is Anna a great friend of The Old Stables she is also now a multi million streaming artist who has enjoyed radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 2, and 6 Music. We are thrilled that she is coming back to see us again!
Supporting Anna is the gorgeous Ben Cipolla (or Bennie Onions as we like to call him). Based in Bristol and inspired by his Sicilian heritage, Ben has released two acclaimed albums, including Casa Mia, and is preparing his third for release in 2026. With performances at the BBC Swing Jazz Prom at the Royal Albert Hall, WOMAD, Manchester Jazz Festival and Shambala, alongside national airplay on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and BBC Introducing, Ben continues to carve his own path with authenticity, warmth and understated brilliance.
